A logo is a symbol made up of text and images that identifies a company. So, a great logo communicates what a company does and what it stands for. In a nutshell, it consists of a brendmark, a logotype and a payoff. In other words, all together they create a composition with the aim of communicating that something exists. So, the logo can create strong visual and emotional associations with a company. This association helps customers keep the brand in mind. My job as a graphic designer is to design a visual brand that aligns with a company’s philosophy.
The brand is the set of perceptions that people have about the company. So, you can think about the impression the company leaves on the customer. This impression can be left by various things: such as an advertisement, a web page, a product, (…) In conclusion, the logo maintains the visual association between these things. That’s why it’s important to create, develop, and design logos that are simple in structure. In fact, the geometric composition, the colors, the font (…) must be combined with each other in a harmonious and logical way. In today’s communication, simplicity is the winning weapon to communicate a company’s philosophy to its customers.
